DRAFT

Sealed packs of real assets, raced in a weekly league.

Abstract

DRAFT is a protocol on Robinhood Chain that sells sealed packs. Each pack contains five real on-chain assets: tokenized stocks (Tesla, NVIDIA, the S&P 500 ETF) and native memecoins. Which five, and how much of the budget each one gets, is decided by randomness committed to a future block before anyone can see it. The assets are bought on Uniswap at open and delivered to a vault only the buyer controls. Every opened pack automatically enters a weekly league where the best portfolio growth splits a prize pool funded by pack sales.

The problem

Buying a diversified position on chain is tedious: research, five swaps, five approvals, slippage on each. Memecoin launchpads solve the boredom with pure gambling and give nothing real in return. Fantasy leagues give competition but no ownership. DRAFT combines the three: one click, five real assets you keep, and a weekly game on top.

The product

A pack is a template: five slots, each typed Stock, Meme or Wildcard, and a fixed price in ETH. Four official packs exist at launch (Starter, Blue Chip Heavy, Full Degen, Wildcard X2); anyone can publish their own for a fee and earn 2% of every sale.

On purchase the pack is sealed for two blocks. On open, each slot rolls a rarity from a published table and picks an asset from the whitelist of its type. Rarity decides the slot's share of the asset budget:

Common · 60%0.6x share
Rare · 25%1.0x share
Epic · 11%2.5x share
Legendary · 3.5%8x share
Mythic · 0.5%30x share

Wildcard slots use a boosted table (Legendary 7%, Mythic 3%). The five weights are normalised so the asset budget is always spent in full: rarity redistributes value between slots, it never creates value out of thin air.

Assets

Stocks are Robinhood Stock Tokens: ERC-20s issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, backed 1:1 by the underlying share and adjusted for corporate actions through an on-chain multiplier. Memes are native Robinhood Chain memecoins with deep Uniswap v3 liquidity. The whitelist lives in the DraftFactory contract and can only change through the 48-hour timelock; the current list is on the transparency page.

Randomness

The keeper publishes a Merkle root of secret seeds for a range of future pack ids before those ids can be sold. When you buy, your pack gets the next id and a target block two blocks ahead. The draw is keccak256(seed, blockhash(target), id): the seed was fixed before your purchase, the block hash did not exist yet. Neither the keeper nor the buyer can steer the outcome. After the target block the seed becomes public and anyone can open the pack; if nobody does within 256 blocks, the buyer gets a full refund. Every open can be replayed on the verify page.

Price & fees

A referrer earns 1% of the price, paid out of the protocol share. Winners pay 5% of each prize to the protocol when they claim. Publishing a template costs a flat fee that goes to the treasury. Nothing is charged for holding, withdrawing or selling your assets.

The league

Weeks run Monday 00:00 UTC to Monday 00:00 UTC. At open the oracle prices of your five assets are snapshotted with their budget shares as weights. Your score is the weighted growth of those five assets from the snapshot to the week's closing prices. A pack races two weeks: full weight in its first week, half weight in its second. Ties go to the earlier open.

After the week closes anyone may propose the ranking; the contract verifies order and completeness. A 24-hour challenge window follows in which anyone can prove a mistake and reset the proposal. Then the epoch is final and prizes are claimable: 1st 25%, 2nd 15%, 3rd 10%, 4th to 10th 5% each, 11th to 50th share 15%. Places nobody fills roll into next week's pool. Withdrawing assets from a pack removes it from the race and forfeits unclaimed prizes.

Custody

Assets land in DraftVault, a contract with no owner, no pause and no sweep function. Only the pack's buyer can withdraw, any card, any time. The protocol never holds user assets in an account it controls.

Prices & oracles

Stocks are priced by Chainlink tokenized-equity feeds (8 decimals, 24/5 updates that hold the last price over weekends), combined with the ETH/USD feed. Each read checks the feed's own pause flag, staleness (four days for stocks, 26 hours for ETH) and a positive answer. Memecoins are priced by a 30-minute Uniswap v3 TWAP against WETH. Swaps use the oracle price to set a minimum output, so sandwich attacks cannot drain a pack. Assets whose price is unavailable are skipped at open and frozen at the last good price in the league.

Creators & referrals

Anyone can publish a template with any mix of slot types and a price within the protocol bounds. Creators earn 2% of every sale, accrued in the pack contract and pulled with one transaction. Referrers share a link and earn 1% of every pack bought through it, also pull-based, also forever.

Security & governance

All admin functions (whitelist, pools, templates, price bounds, oracle settings, treasury withdrawals) are owned by a TimelockController with a 48-hour delay. The only proposer is a 2-of-3 Safe multisig. The keeper key can only publish seed roots and open packs; it holds gas, nothing else. Contracts are verified on Sourcify and Blockscout; the test suite has 133 tests with over 95% line coverage and went through four internal review rounds. An external audit is scheduled before the soft-launch price cap is lifted.

Token

There is no DRAFT token yet. When one launches, its contract address will appear here, in the site header and on our X account at the same moment. Until then, anything claiming to be the DRAFT token is a scam.

Roadmap

Q3 2026Mainnet launch on Robinhood Chain. Four official packs, three stocks, three memes, weekly league.
Q4 2026External audit. More stock tokens through two-hop routing (Apple, Microsoft, QQQ). Creator templates marketplace. Token.
Q1 2027Seasons with leaderboards and badges. Sponsored packs. Mobile app.
LaterCross-chain packs, options-style wildcards, DAO control of the whitelist.

Risks

Packs contain volatile assets; their value can be below the pack price the moment they land and can go to zero. Stock Tokens can be paused or frozen by the issuer during corporate actions; during a pause the asset cannot be withdrawn and is frozen in the league at its last price. Smart contracts can have bugs; funds are only as safe as the code and the audit. DRAFT is not affiliated with Robinhood. Nothing here is financial advice.
